We always hear the opinion of Australian politicians on Aboriginal issues but when it comes to Aboriginal people themselves, there is often no voice. Today, Marjorie Tripp an Ramindjeri elder, spoke at the Australian Association of Gerontology 40th National Conference in Adelaide. With the title “The Mad Rantings of an Aboriginal woman”, Ms Tripp spoke her opinion on issues that face Aboriginal people. Ms Tripp spoke with The Wire about her ranting and Kay-Lee Jackson, who also spoke at the conference.
