After a tense week in the Iraqi city of Najaf the latest reports say the crisis may be over, with rebel Shia leader Moqtada Al Sadr saying he will disarm and leave the shrine he and his fighters have been occupying. This news has been greeted sceptically by US national security advisor Condoleeza Rice, who says Al Sadr can’t be trusted and will have to be dealt with. Annie Hatwell spoke to Baghdad aid worker Maxine Nash about how the news is being received by locals, and to Dr John Bruni from Adelaide University who says Moqtada flying the peace flag is actually America’s worst nightmare
