Whilst koalas continue to be one Australia’s most emblematic marsupials, beloved by tourists and locals alike, the staggering drop in koala numbers has become an issue of national concern as Australia’s cuddly friends face serious environmental challenges.

A new documentary chronicles the struggle to maintain the koala population as Australia’s metropolitan spaces continue to expand.

The Koalas follows the lives of six koalas.

The Koalas will be screening at New Farm Cinemas (Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July), Roseville Cinemas (Wednesday 17th July), Dendy Newtown (Thursday 18th July) and Canberra Dendy (Thursday 18th July)
