The Great Global Warming Swindle
Tonight’s showing of controversial filmmaker Martin Durkin’s “Great Global Warming Swindle” is causing much debate because of its conspiracy views on climate change and challenges on the accuracy of its content. In a time when the global warming debate is high in the political and social agenda, the documentary is gaining added exposure because of excessive publicity by the ABC and claims by some media outlets that the right wing documentary is being over exposed by the national broadcaster, to appease the coalition government, following the ABC’s presentation of the highly controversial and left-leaning drama “Bastard Boy’s” in May. Owen Teakle asked Dr Michael Raupach of the CSIRO about his views on climate change and Durkin’s documentary.
