Right now a small island in the South Pacific is struggling to survive. It’s battling drought, followed by extreme rains, and to top if off the island itself is slowly disappearing under the sea. Kiribati is on the frontline of the fight to stop climate change, and this week international leaders gathered there for talks in the lead up to the next summit in Cancun, Mexico. Phil Glendenning, Director of social justice organisation the Edmund Rice Centre was at the talks.
