It’s been 10 years since thousands of Australians took to the streets to protest the Iraq war. Now a new campaign is hoping to revive that anger in a bid to keep the American military off Australian soil.

On Friday over 300 citizens, academics and medical practitioners will join in a national campaign against the build up of US military forces on Australian territory. The Independent and Peaceful Australia Network (IPAN) believes Australia needs to stand firm and maintain its independence from other countries.
