New laws on counter-terrorism have only just come into play in Australia, but already they are appearing on the international radar. A panel on international advocates for justice are going around the world, comparing different countries’ terrorism and human rights laws with international standards, in an effort to make a global report by April 2007. They have already been to Colombia and East Africa with Belfast and London in their sights for April this year.
