Dame Sylvia Cartwright is a former judge and also Governor General of New Zealand. She has now has taken a job working with the UN as a trial judge in the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia . She visited Australia last week. She says one of the major challenges of the job is taking evidence from people about events that happened so long ago.
