The National Broadband Network is back in the focus this week with the Government announcing a $620 million with NBNCo to launch two satellites in 2015, giving Australia’s most rural 3% full access to broadband internet.

Questions have arisen however, with government opposition debating the price and neccessity of the proposed satellites. Despite acknowledging the boost in connectivity and rural business ventures through broadband internet, Shadow Minister for Communications and Broadband Malcolm Turnbull continues to fight the plans. Are his arguments up to speed?
