A new study from the US warns of the devastating climatic side effects a nuclear war would have on the planet. Steven Starr is a US expert on nuclear weapons operating status, and the predicted climatic effects of nuclear war, and has studied extensively both these subjects and their implications for human society. Mr Starr has visited Australia recently on a speaking tour and met with government representatives about nuclear disarmanent. He will present his research to the UN Preparatory Committee on the nuclear Non Proliferation treaty later this month.
