The earthquake in Chile has now claimed over 700 lives. While the Government attempts to deliver aid to devastated regions, family and friends have hit social media sites, trying to find news about loved ones. Earlier in the day, there were even Tweets of people who claimed to be trapped in collapsed buildings. So can social media be another tool in emergency relief, or is it just white noise?
