The southern coast of Australia appears to have all the characteristics of the windy North Sea, which currently harvests many kilowatts of power for Denmark, Germany and the UK.

Wind power is the cheapest form of sustainable energy in the world, and once the problems of Australia’s deep oceans are solved with floating wind generators, Tasmania and the southern continental coast could prove to be the mainstay of Australia’s energy future.
