The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have long-suffered over the internal issue domestic violence, as it now has become an intergenerational issue. Although there exists universal condemnation of such acts, the answers in stopping and preventing such violence are not clear.

Daniel Sorluca speaks with Christine Robinson, the coordinator of the Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre, about how the issue of violence has managed to be intergenerationally perpetuated and what the solutions could be.
