Pakistan is descending towards what some are warning could be civil war with fighting intensifying between the Taliban and government troops. Civilians are caught in the middle – with the Taliban taking over towns and the military then shelling those places. The Pakistani government seems powerless to deal with the situation and the US is getting increasingly worried.
