Syrian community split on how to end violence in Syria

Activists say more than 200 people have died since violence escalated in the city of Homs on Friday night. The violence in Syria has dragged on for almost a year now, with the death toll estimated to be over 5500 since the uprising began in March. Opinion is unanimous among the Syrian community in Australia that the violence should end, but what is less clear is how exactly that should happen.

There’s also debate about whether President Assad should remain in power and what role the international community should play.Biwa Kwan reports.
