Syria crackdown continues-thousands of fatalities
The pro-democracy revolution which erupted in Syria March this year, continues to escalate, but at the expense of its citizens. President Bashar al-Assad’s recent speech calling for national dialogue was much maligned with international superpowers France, UK and the United States saying it’s too late. Amid Bashar’s rising credibility gap inside his regime … the UN Security council countries couldn’t agree on intervention while Brazil, China and Russia are calling against it. Western media documents one thousand 6 hundred murdered and mutilated as military tanks become permanent fixtures in its main cities.
