Challenging today’s consumerism with a more sustainable design is no easy task. Yet, small businesses based on ethical principles are beginning develop. Helene Ratner talked to two such entrepreneurs: David Gravina, Director Digital Eskimo, and Greta Werner, Director of Circle Interiors. She also spoke to Dr Cameron Tonkinwise, Coordinator of Design Studies at the University of Technology Sydney, and Executive Officer of Change Design, at the forum “chang-ex” held recently in Sydney.
