A new study reveals most ready-made foods for infants and toddlers found in Australian supermarkets fail to meet World Health Organization nutrition guidelines.
The Monash University study found that less than a quarter of products met the recommended nutrient guidelines, while nearly half exceeded safe sugar levels.
The study also found that none of the products reviewed complied with WHO labelling rules, raising concerns about misleading promotional tactics targeting parents.
