Super-typhoon Bopha ravages southern Philippines

Super-typhoon Bopha has so far killed 238 people, with more missing as mudslides and floods wreak havoc in Mindanao. The westward bound natural disaster has blown 210 kilometre gusts across the island, bringing back memories of tropical storm Washi which struck the island around the same time last year. Weather analysts say the population were well aware of the disaster, reducing the numbers drastically from the 1200 killed in Washi’s wake last year, so how are the Philippines Red Cross handling the situation?
