Hundreds of millions of people go to bed with an empty stomach every night across the world, and this problem could get worse. According to recent projections, the human population could top nine billion people by twenty-fifty. Using current food models, we would need to produce at least twice as much food to feed all of these people. To prepare for this challenge, a group of international agricultural experts have congregated in Brisbane to discuss ways to tackle this problem.
