A world-first review of robot-assisted prostate cancer surgeries shows it is on par with traditional procedures.

The study led by Urological Surgeon Dr Nigel Dunglison at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Professor Suzanne Chambers at the Menzies Health Institute, Queensland examined over 300 surgeries over two years.

The results will inform future research on how to manage prostate cancer, which is currently the second-most diagnosed cancer among Australian men.
