Pressure is mounting to release Leader of Burma’s democratic opposition movement, Aung San Su Ki, who has been under house arrest for 13 years. The UN Working Group on Arbitrary detention has been investing her arrest by the ruling military junta, and they’ve just issued a statement that not only does her arrest contravene international law, it’s also against Burma’s own domestic laws.
