Reconciliation week draws to a close tomorrow with Mabo Day celebrations. In a mixed week, the mainstream media has largely ignored the federal government bill abolishing the nation’s peak indigenous body. But a memorial unveiled in Canberra recognises the thousands of indigenous children taken from their families.
