Just days before Indigenous Australians celebrate the anniversary of the landmark Mabo decision, in Brisbane, a group of Indigenous and non Indigenous professionals have banded together, with the ambition to foster cultural, social and community expression and see greater economic independence for Aboriginal people. The centre for Aboriginal Independence and Enterprise was launched this week and we spoke with Chairman Wayne Coolwell earlier about their goals.
