A charge of war crimes against Sri-Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in a Melbourne court has been stopped in it’s tracks by Attorney General Robert McClelland.

Sri-Lankan born Australian Arunachalam Jegatheeswaran used the opportunity of the President’s visit to Australia for the CHOGM summit this week to file an indictment against him, for his conduct in the recent Sri Lankan civil war.I spoke to Lucien Richter of Robert Stary lawyers who were representing Mr. Jegatheeswaran, to find out what made him file his case.
