Easter Sunday’s terror attacks in Colombo are almost certainly the work of ISIS says terror expert Greg Barton. Local networks and a Sri Lankan government looking the wrong way enabled the group to undertake the communication, planning and weapon smuggling that allowed such an attack to succeed. The attack and the fact that one of the suicide bombers studied in Australia is a chilling reminder of how ISIS can infiltrate other countries. Barton warns that many South East Asian countries and particularly Malaysia must now be viewed as vulnerable to similar attacks.
