Cyber bullying is an issue that didn’t even exist when most of us were young. But it’s an issues plaguing today’s kids, and their parents and teachers. Over two days, the National Centre Against Bullying, or NCAB, held their fifth biennial conference, bringing together Australia’s most outspoken anti-bullying advocates. The theme of the conference was social media and cyberbullying. The Wire spoke with one of the key speakers to find out about the warning signs, and what parents and teachers can be doing to prevent this issue from harming our kids any further.

Anyone who feels they’re being bullied should contact the Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
