It’s often said sport and politics shouldn’t mix…but, never the less, it is inevitable that they do. And this point’s been proved at the World Cup in Germany. One of the aims of the tournament is to promote racial peace, but in England, some elements of society are using it to hype up nationalism, which is causing racial tension in multicultural communities.
