A Brisbane-based organisation is pledging the Queensland government to review its protections for refugee and multicultural women.
The State government passed a law earlier this year to criminalise coercive control, becoming the second state just behind New South Wales to do so.
But the Immigrant Women Support Service claims there are not enough support services for migrant women, who face unique challenges when arriving in Australia.
