For too long, aboriginal people have been the subject of white people’s studies. But the Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal Health is trying to change that. In conjunction with the James Cook University, they’ve developed a pilot course in health research for indigenous people. The Certificate IV in Indigenous Research Capacity Building to provide accredited, practical, community-based research and evaluation skills development for Aboriginal health and community services workers.
