The Government is touting its green credentials this week after the Australian company Solar Systems signed a $10 million dollar deal with Boeing to improve solar technology in Australia. But earlier this year, the Government slashed incentives to commercial and residential solar power installations, casting doubt on their support for the industry. Meanwhile, The Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy says the deal will reduce remote Aboriginal community dependence on diesel fuel and reinvigorate the solar industry in Australia.
