Social Services Minister Paul Fletcher has publicly named and shamed more than 100 institutions yet to sign up to the National Redress Scheme.

The list includes a number of religious institutions, and sporting and community groups, as well as timeframes for those who have indicated they will eventually join.

In the last three months, applications to join the scheme have risen from 252 institutions to 927.

Mr Fletcher expects more to apply in the wake of Cardinal George Pell’s conviction.
