Small business advocates are concerned the federal government’s increased workplace benefits and reforms are making it difficult for smaller employers to stay afloat.

It comes as the federal government pursues widespread reforms to industrial relations and other programs to close the gender pay gap.

Larger companies often have the resources to properly implement government funding, but many small business owners are left on their own to navigate the relevant government agencies.
