Boys in one and girls in the other is an educational model that’s been around for ages, but change may be on the books for Australia. The Armidale School in NSW is the most recent school to announce that it will be opening its doors to female students for the first time in one hundred and twenty three years. This move has reignited the debate over gender-segregated schooling and comes at a time when the number of same-sex schools is dropping in Australia and overseas.
