At a recent Australian Space Industry Forum at the University of New South Wales, a panel of experts discussed the future direction of space activity in Australia. Whilst some industry experts urge Australia to stop "freeloading" from other countries, others say the risk of setting up an agency isn't worth it. (NASA, Wikimedia Commons)

The United States has launched another rocket into space and they aim to place 29 tiny satellites into orbit, including a satellite built by high school students. Whilst the rest of the world watches on, space industry experts are debating whether Australia needs to join the space race.
