The Wire

When funding for community and arts facilities is suddenly cut, it creates enormous disruption to the community they serve.  This is what happened at the start of 2018 for the Bangerang Community Centre.  Apart from all of the cultural and community activities that suddenly had to stop, there was a priceless collection of Aboriginal art and artifacts from around Australia (mainly due to the efforts of Uncle Sandy Atkinson) that was there as the keeping place.
