A research project is tapping into traditional stories and knowledge to empower indigenous patients and achieve better health outcomes. The Sharing the True Stories project has begun with the Yolngu people from Northeast Arnhem Land communities, due to high instances of renal disease in the area. Luke Rowe spoke to health researcher Dr Kerin Coulehan at Charles Darwin University.
