Triple Js “Hottest 100 Songs of all time” featured not one female artist and not a single female fronted band – no Garbage, no PJ Harvey, no Tori Amos. The entire list contained only two female guest vocalists and five bands with female members. Adelaide artists Emily Davis and Clemintine Ford decided this shouldn’t go unnoticed. They’ve put a show together for the Adelaide Fringe festival called “The women who Triple J forgot”. Pia Volk caught up with them to hear their views about sexism in the music industry.
