Sex workers on temporary visas could be banned

Temporary visa holders will be stripped of the right to work in Australia as a sex worker, if the Coalition is re-elected this week. The Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Kevin Andrews, vowed to ban anyone in Australia on a working holiday or student visa and practicising in the sex industry. But those in the industry say this is discriminatory and prompt these people to join the network of illegal sex workers.
