When you head into the booth around election time, many of us are often startled by the plethora of boxes wanting out number 1 signature. Many, we have probably never heard of and you can’t help but wonder what they really stand for. The Wire in the lead up to this year’s election will take time to profile candidates from around the nation, typically the one’s that are not involved in the major two party’s. To kick us of is Sarah Hansen-Young, a senate candidate for the greens. She is a recent mother who says climate change is on top of her political agenda come late this year. Dan Hamilton started the grill and by asking her about motivations on running for a senate position.
