On the issue of Indigenous community development, Australia is at a crossroads. And if the government doesn’t look at funding both meaningful and sustainable projects, Indigenous communities won’t be able to move forward. That’s according to Sonya Pearce, the Director of Indigenous programs at the Business Faculty of the University of Technology, Sydney. Tonight she’s giving a speech that calls for a more culturally meaningful approach to Aboriginal business and service delivery. Ahead of the talk she spoke with The Wire.
