Sea Eagle shooting prompts calls for coastal protection

The shooting of a sea eagle in a remote area on the western coast of South Australia has created quite a stir in the local community. Sea eagles are rare, heading towards being endangered. Grant Hobson from local conservation group Friends of Sceale Bay says it highlights the need to protect a picturesque piece of coast which is being eyed off by developers and sea-changers. State Government Conservator for the region Ross Belcher says more resources are needed to monitor the area which currently has only one ranger.
