Scientists and farmers from more than 70 countries are meeting outside Brisbane this week at the Fifth World Congress on Conservation Agriculture. The meeting showcases many international partnerships including one where Australian scieintists are working in Africa on food security issues.
One such program is using Australian expertise to help African farmers improve their yield on maize crops. It aims to impact half a million rural households in the next ten years.
