The pain and trauma experienced by the Stolen Generations is being recognised today, as events across Australia are held to mark ‘National Sorry Day’. But three years on since former prime minister Kevin Rudd said “sorry”, those affected say little has changed and indigenous Australians are still worse off. The Wire’s Tom Angley went to the Adelaide event today and asked what Sorry Day meant to the lives of those involved in the Stolen Generations.
