The New South Wales Government is planning to sell off public housing to address Sydney increasing housing demand. This is bad news for the tenants of Ivanhoe, a longstanding public housing estate in Macquarie Park in Sydney’s North West, which has been left in limbo since being notified of their impending eviction. This uncertain future has resulted in anxiety amongst the tenants, many of them amongst Sydney’s most socially vulnerable.
