Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman arrived in the Pakistani capital Islamabad to a heroes welcome. With a public holiday called and the streets lined with images of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Prince lining the streets.

This was a particularly significant move in a time of deep economic crisis in Pakistan, with the nation seeking its 13th bailout from the IMF since the late 1980s.

Prime Minister Khan has been seeking financial help from ‘friendly’ countries and Saudi Arabia has been more than forthcoming.
