SA Health blunder leaves child abuse victims vulnerable

A number of pre-recorded interviews with alleged victims of child abuse and sexual assault have been ruled inadmissible in court, due to an administrative oversight in the South Australian Health Department.

The South Australian Government is rushing retrospective laws into place in order to avoid children having to re-tell their stories, something Linda Franco from Child Wise believes could severely re-traumatise affected individuals.
