Russia holds out on nuclear agreements

It’s looking fairly likely that Russia will be the next confimrmed customer for Australia’s uranium. With India the concerns have been that it wasn’t signed up to the International Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty. Russia has signed the agreement but has notably failed to sign more recent amendments. Dr Donald Rothwell is professor of International Law at the Australian National University. He says Russia’s failure to sign up is worrying if they are to be buying Australian uranium.
