Campaigning for the Federal election is well under way, and health again promises to be a major issue. Already this week, both parties have announced millions of dollars will be pumped into medicare, with bulk billing a major focus. However the vice president of the Rural Doctors’ Association of Australia Dr Graham Slaney says problems in rural and regional areas are much bigger than just bulk billing.
