In the wake of their inspection of Manus Island earlier this year Amnesty International have been touring Australia, talking to communities in big cities and rural towns about conditions for refugees in our detention centres. And they’re finding an audience that is keen to know more as Immigration Minister Scott Morrison reports less. Rural Australians for Refugees is a growing movement, and Amnesty has been helping them pull back the veil on life in the camps.
